WOOD FLOOR CARE - Janitorial Supplies Equipment

Hardwood floors are probably the easiest floors to care for if treated correctly. It's all about protecting your investment. Consumers pay thousands of dollars for beautiful hardwood floors, however, the amazing fact about hardwood floors, is the lack of buyers remorse. It will only take bucks to keep them looking like you paid thousands of dollars! It’s important to know how to prevent damage to your solid hardwood floors. There are 3 basic ways to clean a hardwood floor; using a wet and dry microfiber flat mop system, using a tough commercial grade canister vacuum, or you can use popular household cleaners.

I'll break down all three, however, no particular cleaning option give you an advantage, they simply all do the job amazingly, its up to you how much you want to spend keeping your floors beautiful.

Microfiber Wet and Dry Flat Mops

A typical microfiber mop kit with frame, handle, and pad will only run you $9.99! That's whats so amazing about using this method, you definitely save more!!You should always buy the brand wet wax quality, however microfiber mops are great for wet or dry mopping. Use dust cloths to cover mop and begin cleaning your hardwood floor, its that simple.

CANISTER VACUUM & SPECIALITY

If you spring for a canister vacuum to clean your hardwood floors then you want a more professional look to your floors. Businesses, schools, hotels and government buildings usually use canister vacuums to clean larger areas in little to no time. They are extremely powerful and the best feature telescopic metal wands to reach those difficult cleaning locations. Today you can even save the environment by purchasing a CRI Green Label certified and a HEPA filtration which is perfect for detailed cleaning. 2. Actually, Murphy's is the WORST thing you can use on wood floors! Murphy's is made for cleaning WOOD! When cleaning hardwood floors, you're cleaning the URETHANE COATING! Murphy's builds up on urethane over time, creating a massive buildup and residue that is very difficult to remove using traditional cleaners! This residue can look dull and will make the floors look hazy over time! Consult a flooring professional if you have questions about proper products for cleaning hardwoods. The Bona Product line is probably the BEST that is readily available to the general public!
